Resource: Job Radio FM

Kevin Panet, a speaker at our recent CareerCampSCV, sends along a link and info for Job Radio FM.

Recently I made an exciting / refreshing discovery. It’s http://jobradio.fm/

Stop listening to the network news (is rarely uplifting) or watching TV. You’re better off listening to something constructive. You can listen to this web site on-line and there’s even an iPhone app for that.

I’ve been listening to this for over a week. I’ve gotten a lot of very helpful ideas, tips, encouragement, etc. It’s free (sponsored by many job sites) and worth checking out. The site provides “career advice talk & jobcasts, streaming live 24/7. I’ve heard a lot of recruiters, HR people, hiring managers, etc. talking about what they like to see, what job seekers should avoid, etc.

When I’m tied to a computer (sending out resumes, following up, etc.), or driving in my car (via iPhone), this is what I am listening too.

Best of luck with your job search.
